Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an Estimator for a Door Manufacturing company based in Bradenton, FL
Duties:
- Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed estimates for doors, frames, hardware, glass, and related materials.
- Calculate material quantities, labor, fabrication, freight, and installation costs.
- Obtain and compare supplier pricing and maintain current cost databases.
- Prepare professional quotations and proposals for customers and contractors.
- Identify scope changes, exclusions, and potential cost risks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of estimating experience, preferably in door, millwork, construction, or architectural products.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and construction specifications.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software; CAD knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of commercial/residential doors, frames, hardware, and construction methods preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
