Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview

A local credit union in Fort Myers is seeking a customer-focused Bank Teller to serve as the primary point of contact for members. This role is responsible for processing financial transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping members identify financial products and services that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash and customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers.
• Provide exceptional customer service while building positive member relationships.
• Assist members with account inquiries and product information.
• Process night deposits and mail deposits accurately and efficiently.
• Sell cashier's checks and other financial services as needed.
• Maintain a working knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that meet members' financial needs.
• Maintain accurate records and transaction documentation.
• Follow security procedures and identify potential fraudulent activity.
• Support branch operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cash handling experience required.
• Strong customer service experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established procedures.
