Machine Operator

Located in Rensselaer, IN

Salary: 18.50

MACHINE OPERATOR 

Shift:     2nd  Shift

Pay:       $18.50/hr

Where:   Rensselaer area

Evaluation Hire:  Full-Time

 

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• 1. Drives shag truck to move trailers, and fork trucks as needed.
  2. Utilizes pneumatic bander to secure roofing panels.
  3. Moves the bundled panels to the trailer using the overhead hoist.
  4. Places wood on the trailer then between each layer as the trailer is loaded.
  5. Stocks cardboard and other times for the roll form operators.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Good recent work history
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Attention to detail

 

Requirements:

• Basic Math Skills (addition, subtraction, etc.),
• High school/ GED equivalent,
• Able to read, speak, understand, and communicate in English,
• Basic computing skills. 
• Reliable transportation – company has an attendance policy
• Ability to do physical labor & lift up to 50 lbs.
