Job Summary

A local bank is seeking a Temporary Vulnerability Remediation Specialist to support its IT department in identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities throughout the organization's technology environment. This role will focus on reviewing vulnerability reports, applying security updates, troubleshooting remediation issues, and documenting completed work.

Responsibilities

• Review vulnerability scan reports and identify affected systems
• Remediate vulnerabilities on Windows workstations and related systems
• Install software updates, security patches, and application upgrades
• Troubleshoot failed installations and remediation efforts
• Utilize tools such as SCCM, NinjaOne, LogMeIn, and Windows administration utilities
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and remediation status
• Provide regular progress updates to IT leadership
• Collaborate with IT support, infrastructure, and security teams
• Follow established change management and security procedures

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Knowledge of software patching, system updates, and vulnerability remediation
• Familiarity with SCCM, NinjaOne, LogMeIn, or similar endpoint management tools preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following security protocols

Preferred Skills

• IT support, desktop support, system administration, or cybersecurity experience
• Understanding of vulnerability management and endpoint security best practices
• Experience working in a regulated or professional business environment
