Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to keep manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience

 

Maintenance Mechanic

Pay:  $30-$35/hour

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

 

Location: Morgantown, PA

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Troubleshoot 24VDC–480VAC electrical systems, VFDs, sensors, and basic PLCs
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, mechanical repairs, and equipment modifications
• Complete maintenance documentation and follow LOTO and safety procedures
• Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and industrial equipment
• Basic PLC and automation knowledge
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience using a multimeter and electrical testing equipment
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
