Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) 

Our client in Hudson, Wisconsin, is looking for a Scrap Cutter to join their team on a temporary basis. The Scrap Cutter safely operates a guillotine, a heavy-duty industrial cutting machine, with straight, vertical-dropping blades to trim paper, cardboard, plastic, or sheet metal to exact specifications. 

Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate the guillotine or paper cutting machine to cut large volumes of product.
• Load raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper placement for efficient cutting operations.
• Monitor the cutting process closely, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow strict safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure machine guards function properly. 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required.
• Minimum one year of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8–12 hours per shift.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.
