Laser Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting equipment to cut and process metal materials according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.

• Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and quality results.

• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.

• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines.

Expected Results:

• Produce accurate, high-quality parts according to specifications.

• Meet production goals and deadlines.

• Maintain consistent product quality while minimizing material waste.

• Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns.

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Skills Required:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to operate and monitor machinery.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

Experience Required:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment is a plus.

• Willingness to learn machine setup, programming, and operation.
