Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking for a stable career with opportunities for growth? We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our warehouse, inventory, and customer service operations. This hands-on position plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, processed, and shipped while providing exceptional service to Will Call customers.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
- Process production orders and stock items for shipment.
- Pull materials from warehouse shelves and inventory locations.
- Package, label, palletize, and prepare products for shipping.
- Generate packing lists and shipping documentation using the company computer system.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) for LTL freight shipments.
- Coordinate carrier pickups and shipment schedules.
Receiving & Inventory Control
- Unload inbound trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, and shipping discrepancies.
- Verify received materials against vendor packing slips and purchase orders.
- Break down pallets and stock inventory according to assigned bin locations.
- Rotate inventory to maintain proper stock management.
- Process receipts and inventory transactions within the company system.
- Forward packing slips and Bills of Lading to the Purchasing Department.
Material Handling & Production Support
- Select and distribute log stock to designated production workstations.
- Record and track material numbers for inventory accuracy.
- Safely load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Inventory Management
- Participate in quarterly cycle counts.
- Assist with annual physical inventory processes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
Customer Service
- Assist Will Call customers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Pull, package, and prepare customer orders.
- Load purchased products into customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Represent the company with a positive and customer-focused attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving, logistics, distribution, or inventory experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate computer systems for shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
