Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local nonprofit that runs two shelters and needs a steady, self-directed Shelter Director. What You'll Do

• Provide oversight, guidance, and a steady presence for about 9 families living at the shelters
• Oversee and schedule up to 10-15 staff across two shelters
• Arrange treatment and appointments for residents, and drive them when needed
• Keep accurate, thorough case files and documentation
• Take calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's degree (required); a master's in social work is welcome
• Experience in social services, substance abuse recovery, or managing people is a strong plus
• A commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle
• A calm, steady presence under pressure: you stay logical rather than reactive, hold your ground, and are comfortable calling for help when needed
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills
• Comfort working in a faith-based environment that centers Christian values
