General Laborer - Recyclable

Located in Cheektowaga, NY

Salary: $18.00/hr

Express Employment Professionals are currently seeking workers for a company that focuses on reducing the amount of e-waste that ends up in landfills and promote the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of unwanted electronic equipment.

This company has been at the forefront of the electronics recycling industry since its early stages of development more than 20 years ago and continue as pioneers of the recycling frontier.

1st shift: 8:00am-12:15pm

Pay Rate: $18.00/Hr 

Temporary Position - 1 Day Event

Duties/Responsibilities

• Place cones, lines, gaylords, pallets, etc.
• Handle materials to be collected from residents' vehicles
• Separate collected materials into appropriate bins, stack and wrap collected recycled materials\
• Properly package (palletize) collected materials.
• Clean up materials, broken pieces, glass, etc.
• Load trailers for safe transport
• Miscellaneous duties: cutting cords, break down boxes, replenishing supplies, etc.
• Additional duties not listed above that management deem necessary for the position.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be at least 18yrs. of age
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable, organized, takes initiative and be able to give clear direction to others
• Must have/own reliable transportation
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions (rain, or heat)
• Must work well with others, in a team setting

Work Environment:

• Typically held outside, work in a variety of weather, dust and noise conditions
• Team environment
