Our Pickering client, a leading distributor of warm air heating and air-conditioning equipment and supplies, is looking for an Order Picker to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using pick sheets and warehouse documentation
• Locate, retrieve, and prepare HVAC products (small parts, nuts, bolts, motors, etc.) for shipment
• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before staging for shipping
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and pre-inventory preparation activities
• Organize and stock products within warehouse locations
• Assist with receiving and replenishing inventory as required
• Maintain accurate records and communicate inventory discrepancies to supervisors
• Package and prepare products for shipment while ensuring proper handling and care
• Keep warehouse aisles, shelves, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company health and safety policies and warehouse procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of Warehouse and Order Picking experience
• Must be comfortable standing on feet for long periods
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs
• Safety boots required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous experience picking order containing HVAC, construction supply, or industrial supply (asset)
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Team player that can work under minimal supervision

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
