Metal Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: West Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Metal Machine Operators for a growing metal manufacturing company in West Phoenix. We are looking for dependable individuals with solid manufacturing experience, strong job tenure, and the ability to work with precision measuring tools in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual metalworking and production machines safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications
• Perform quality inspections throughout the production process
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision measuring instruments
• Verify product dimensions and maintain quality standards
• Load and unload materials into machines
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or a related production environment
• Experience operating manual manufacturing equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of measuring tools and quality inspection processes
• Ability to accurately read calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
• Comfortable working with measurements, tolerances, and production specifications
• Stable work history with good job tenure
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
