Production Operator – Overnight Shift

Pay: $20 per hour
Location: Alachua, Florida
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 overnight schedule, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Schedule

Employees work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. This schedule provides regular days off during the week and every other weekend off.

A typical two-week rotation includes:

• Work two days

• Off two days

• Work three days

• Off two days

• Work two days

• Off three days

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and production equipment

• Load materials and assist with the movement of finished products

• Inspect products for quality, measurements and visible defects

• Monitor equipment and report mechanical or production problems

• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers and routine adjustments

• Package, stack, palletize or prepare finished products for movement

• Maintain accurate production and quality records

• Keep the assigned work area clean, organized and free of hazards

• Follow all safety, quality and production procedures

• Work cooperatively with machine operators, maintenance personnel and supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operation experience is preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn industrial equipment

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour overnight schedule

• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to lift and move materials safely throughout the shift

• Strong attention to safety, quality and detail

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Compensation and Benefits
