Commercial Electrician

Location: Jackson County, MS
Pay: $24.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience and be highly skilled in bending and installing conduit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings.
Bend, install, and secure various types of electrical conduit.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Install electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
Measure, cut, and route conduit and electrical wiring according to project specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify issues with wiring, equipment, and components.
Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work with other electricians, contractors, and construction personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all company and job-site safety requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
Demonstrated experience with bending conduit.
Ability to read and understand electrical plans and schematics.
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Must provide and maintain your own basic electrical tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation and safety practices.
Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and working in various job-site conditions.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
