CNC Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Supervisor to lead second-shift machining operations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising employees, setting up and operating CNC equipment, troubleshooting production issues, training employees, and supporting continuous improvement.

Job Duties

• Supervise and direct second-shift CNC and production employees
• Set up and operate CNC turning and/or milling machining centers
• Edit programs and assist with setup of new machining jobs
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues
• Train operators and setup personnel
• Improve existing machining processes, programs, and setups
• Monitor production rates, quality, and workflow
• Assist with tooling needs and job scheduling
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety procedures
• Communicate production information with first-shift supervision, management, and maintenance
• Assist with hands-on production and machining as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Five or more years of CNC machining experience required
• CNC setup and machine operation experience required
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Ability to edit CNC programs and troubleshoot machining issues
• Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to train employees and manage multiple priorities
• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety and quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent grasping and repetitive motion
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 pounds
• Occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds
• Ability to safely work around CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment

Schedule

• Full-time
• Second Shift
• Monday through Thursday
• 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
• Additional hours may be required based on production needs
