Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an experienced Furniture Upholsterer / Upholstery Technician for a furniture manufacturing company in Ontario, CA.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience upholstering complete pieces of furniture from start to finish, rather than working on only one section or step of the upholstery process in a production-line environment.

The ideal candidate will understand the complete upholstery process, including frame preparation, springs and webbing, padding, foam cutting, cushions, backs, fabric installation, and final furniture assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete furniture upholstery from start to finish.

• Prepare furniture frames for upholstery.

• Install springs, webbing, and padding.

• Measure and cut foam for frame preparation, cushions, and furniture backs.

• Upholster complete furniture pieces according to specifications.

• Install bases and legs to complete finished furniture.

• Read and follow shop drawings and production specifications.

• Inspect completed furniture for quality, appearance, and workmanship.

• Maintain an organized and safe work area.

• Assist in other departments as needed to support production.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on furniture upholstery experience required.

• Must have experience upholstering complete furniture pieces, not solely performing one step of the upholstery process.

• Experience preparing furniture frames, padding, foam, springs, and webbing.

• Ability to accurately follow shop drawings.

• Must be fluent in Spanish.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

• Must be willing to assist in other departments as needed.

• Previous hospitality or contract-grade furniture upholstery experience is a plus.
