Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian for a manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA.

We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable following established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and checklists without constant supervision.

$21.00/hour Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM  Consistent Monday–Friday schedule

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning throughout production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility.

• Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste.

• Clean restrooms and restock restroom supplies.

• Maintain floors and ensure walkways remain clear of debris and potential safety hazards.

• Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.

• Report maintenance concerns or potential safety hazards to management.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

• Remain productive and manage assigned cleaning responsibilities throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience required.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance.

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Work boots required.
