Express Employment is looking for a long term Welding Fabricator.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. (Hour may vary)

Pay: $25 - $26 per hour

Location: Chico, CA

Job Description:

• Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication plans
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal materials
• Weld and fabricate projects from start to finish
• Operate band saws, grinders, drill presses, welding machines, and other shop equipment
• Fabricate custom metalwork, including gates, fences, handrails, and other projects
• Perform grinding, drilling, cutting, fitting, and finishing work
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Follow project specifications, measurements, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and PPE
• Follow industry-standard welding and fabrication safety practices
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials when needed
• Perform other general fabrication and shop duties as assigned
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

• 1 - 5 years of current experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Clean background check
• Preferred experienced with Gate Fences and Handrail
