OVERVIEW

Seeking a Leasing Consultant to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents within a mobile home community. This role is responsible for leasing homes and lots, conducting property tours, processing applications, maintaining resident relations, and supporting community occupancy goals. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensure compliance with community policies, and assist in creating a welcoming living environment for residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet prospective residents and conduct tours of available homes and community amenities.
• Explain lease terms, community guidelines, and rental requirements.
• Process rental applications, background checks, and lease documentation.
• Follow up with prospects through phone, email, and in-person communication.
• Maintain accurate resident and prospect records in property management software.
• Coordinate move-ins and assist residents throughout the leasing process.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident questions and concerns.
• Collect and process rent payments and assist with delinquency follow-up when needed.
• Monitor home inventory and vacancy status to support occupancy goals.
• Assist with marketing efforts, community events, and outreach initiatives.
• Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure homes are move-in ready.
• Perform administrative duties including filing, reporting, and recordkeeping.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous leasing, property management, sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
• Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
