Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring an HVAC Installer for a local client in Livingston Parish. This client is looking for an experienced, HVAC-certified installer who is skilled in the installation and replacement of residential heating and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of completing quality installations while maintaining a professional attitude around customers.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for HVAC Installer:
- Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Remove and replace existing residential HVAC systems and equipment.
- Install and connect ductwork, refrigerant lines, drain lines, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
- Properly set and secure indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment.
- Read and follow HVAC schematics, installation specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
- Assist with start-up and testing of newly installed HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials needed for HVAC installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and job site.
- Follow company procedures and applicable safety practices while completing installations.
- Communicate politely and professionally with homeowners and customers.
- Must have a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work efficiently as part of an installation team.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS for Certified HVAC Installer:
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential installation environments.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with HVAC installation.
- Having your own tools is highly preferred, but a tool program is available for candidates who do not have their own tools.
