Logistics Coordinator

Located in Carlstadt, NJ

Salary: $60,000-$65,000 annually

Looking for a Logistic Coordinator who will support the daily transportation, dispatch and fleet operations of a busy stone company. You will be the main contact for customers, carriers and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries.

Job Duties:

·        Dispatch company drivers and monitor daily delivery routes.

·        Communicate route changes, delays, and operational issues with drivers & clients.

·        Coordinate same-day problem resolution between drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel.

·        Assist with route planning to maximize fleet utilization.

·        Schedule customer delivery appointments and pickup windows.

·        Send appointment confirmations, delivery notifications, and proof of delivery emails.

·        Serve as the face of Logistics for customers arriving to pick up orders.

·        Manage the centralized Logistics inbox as the primary point of contact for transportation requests.

 

Ideal Candidate will have:

·       2–5 years of logistics, dispatch, transportation, or fleet experience preferred.

·       Experience with Odoo or other ERP systems preferred.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.

·       Strong communication and organizational skills.

·       Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent customer service skills.

Hours: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-5:00pm plus some Saturdays 7am-1pm
