Senior Electrician – Union Position

$50.93/Hour | Monday–Friday | Wenatchee, WA

Express Employment Professionals in Wenatchee is partnering with a local manufacturer to recruit an experienced Senior Electrician to join their manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex electrical issues, maintaining production equipment, and providing leadership and support to other electricians.

💰 Pay & Schedule

• $50.93/hour
• Union position – United Steelworkers (USW)
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Occasional night or weekend call-ins may be required
• Annual pay increases per the union contract

What You'll Do

As a Senior Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. You'll also serve as a lead resource for other electricians.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and production equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and equipment malfunctions and complete necessary repairs
• Install power supplies and wiring for new machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematics
• Replace and repair faulty electrical components
• Perform calibration and adjustments of electrical/electronic equipment
• Perform minor programming and maintenance on PLC-based equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of plant electrical circuitry, inspections, and repairs
• Prepare maintenance reports and equipment checklists
• Research electrical parts and equipment for repairs, upgrades, and code compliance
• Maintain an appropriate inventory of electrical tools and parts
• Provide general lead-electrician support
• Provide guidance and assistance to other electricians in the plant

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
• Degree or certificate from an accredited electrical program/college
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with industrial machinery and electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• PLC programming/maintenance experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Stable work history and strong work ethic
• Dependable, reliable, and willing to learn and grow
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to join the United Steelworkers (USW) Union upon hire
