Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Master Mechanic position for a Tire & Auto shop based in Manatee County, FL
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle problems.
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs.
- Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair as required.
- Complete alignments and inspect steering and suspension systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and comprehensive vehicle inspections.
- Review diagnostic findings and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Assist and mentor junior and intermediate technicians.
Requirements:
- Master/ASE-certified technician preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Diesel experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with modern computerized vehicle systems.
- Strong knowledge of tires, brakes, suspension, steering, and general automotive systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic scanners, specialty tools, lifts, tire equipment, and alignment equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to drive a manuel transmission/stick shift.
- Must have own power tools
- Ability to lift and move automotive components and tires.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
