Industrial Electrician-PM Shift

Express is seeking skilled Industrial Electricians for a direct hire (perm) position in Hoboken, GA.

General Description:
The Electrician position [all levels] has the responsibility of properly maintaining the electrical aspects of
Mill equipment with accuracy and precision to support a high level of reliability and good operational results. There
are various Electrician levels/pay grades that are associated with skills, knowledge, preventative and predictive
abilities, troubleshooting, quality and quantity of work, and consistently demonstrated ability in all over time. This
is a general listing; a more detailed listing of expectations resides in the Electrician Skills and Development Program.

Basic Requirements:
1. High School diploma or GED. Basic mechanical aptitude.
2. Safety-minded and able to use good common sense to prevent injuries to oneself, others, as well as damage
to equipment. Demonstrates and trains others in proper and safe procedures.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
4. A good attendance and work performance record.
5. Ability to understand and follow the instructions of management.
6. Follows established safety procedures and can safely work around large equipment and in various conditions
[hot/cold, poor weather], and complete physical tasks [lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up steps, bending,
walking, etc.]. Demonstrated hazard awareness of heavy materials, electronically actuated equipment, stored
energy, and moving equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Execute the instructions of management and assigned tasks.
2. Safely and correctly execute preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting, scheduled and emergency
repairs, and predictive maintenance checks and services in support of Mill operations to include:
a. Completing Preventative Maintenance checks of equipment and recording problems identified.
b. Troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment.
c. Repairing equipment on a planned or emergency basis.
d. Maintaining MCCs and Computer Rooms in safe and orderly condition per OSHA/NFPA regs.
e. Using hand tools and power tools to make repairs.
f. Lifting, climbing, working in tight spaces, working with hot/cold materials, properly using
specialized PPE, working in hot/cold/poor weather, in high noise environments, with sharp objects,
and around large, automated equipment with multiple energy sources.
g. Continually develop individual skill level to better support the Mill’s mission.
