Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Sewer for a growing manufacturing company in Rochester Hills. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with sewing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience who take pride in producing high-quality work.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a foot pedal-driven straight-stitch sewing machine
• Sew fabric materials according to work instructions and production specifications
• Position, align, and feed materials through the sewing machine accurately
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow design specifications, patterns, and work instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Support additional production and assembly duties as needed
• Meet production goals while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Qualifications

• Previous industrial sewing experience preferred
• Assembly, machine operation, or manufacturing experience required
• Ability to read and follow design specifications and patterns
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, professional work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and foot movements throughout the shift
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to maintain focus on detailed work in a production environment
