Location: Monroe, NC
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Overtime: Required, including some weekends

Job Description

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders for a long-term opportunity in Monroe, NC. This position is ideal for welders with structural steel experience who are comfortable reading blueprints, fitting material, and producing quality welds.

What You'll Do

MIG weld structural steel, including I-beams, columns, and plates
Read blueprints, welding symbols, and layout specifications
Measure, lay out, and fit components accurately to 1/16"
Perform flat, overhead, and downhill welds
Inspect your work for quality and accuracy
Follow all safety procedures and report equipment maintenance needs
Cross-train in other production areas as needed

What We're Looking For

3+ years of MIG welding experience
Structural steel welding experience preferred
Ability to read and work from blueprints
Strong layout, measuring, and fitting skills
Ability to pass a hands-on weld test, including flat, overhead, and downhill welds
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Willingness to work required overtime and weekends
