Job Title: Warehouse Yardman
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Yardman to join our team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or yard setting and be comfortable operating equipment, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using forklifts or manual methods

• Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse and yard

• Assist with inventory control and conduct regular stock checks

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Inspect materials and equipment for damage or defects

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Support warehouse team with general labor and logistics tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Prior warehouse or yard experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Forklift certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
