Occasional early start at 4:00 AM and weekend overtime as needed
Pay: $22.00/hour

 

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading company in Troy, Michigan that provides fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket solutions designed to keep combustion engines operating at peak performance. We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join their growing team.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare orders from designated warehouse locations
• Utilize stand-up forklift equipment to retrieve inventory from racking systems
• Move kit boxes and materials throughout the warehouse using wheeled carts
• Process customer orders and shipments using SAP, FedEx, and UPS software
• Verify part numbers and product information to ensure order accuracy
• Use weigh scales to count and verify small parts inventory
• Prepare Kanban cards to support production and assembly operations
• Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

 

Qualifications

• Previous stand-up forklift experience is required
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or shipping environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify similar part numbers
• Computer proficiency required
• Experience using ERP, SAP, inventory management, or warehouse systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
