Forklift Operator

Salary: $16.00/hr

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a temp to hire Forklift Operator position with a local Brick Company. This position requires previous sit-down forklift experience and will pay $16.00 per hour. The hours are M-F from: 7:30 A.M.-4:00 P.M.

 

Responsibilities:

• Read work orders to pull product
• Move pallets of brick from yard to customer vehicle
• Operate a Sit-down Forklift truck that is heated and has air conditioning
• May have to lift up to 100lbs motor when necessary- can ask for lifting assistance
• Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. periodically
• Has previous experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• Possess good math and reading skills
• Capable of working outdoors
