Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility in McMinnville, TN. This position is responsible for operating saws and various power tools to accurately cut materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience, strong measurement skills, and a commitment to producing quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret measurements, work orders, and cutting specifications.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to required dimensions.
• Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with material handling and movement of products as needed.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience operating saws and power tools required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
