Senior Electrician

Location: West Chester, OH

Pay: $30–$35/hr

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of industrial electrician experience within manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, or large facility environments.
• Extensive experience with 480 VAC power distribution systems and industrial electrical infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, relays, contactors, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, construction drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, and industrial electrical safety practices.
• Experience using electrical test equipment, including multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance testers.
• Ability to run conduit, pull wire, use power and mechanical tools, and work at heights using forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and serve as a site electrical subject matter expert.
• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Own the maintenance, reliability, and performance of electrical systems across multiple buildings.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-voltage electrical distribution systems, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and production support systems.
• Install wiring, lighting, controls, transformers, breakers, panels, disconnects, and other electrical components.
• Lead electrical infrastructure upgrades involving panelboards, transformers, motor control centers, buss duct, breakers, and distribution equipment.
• Plan and coordinate electrical shutdowns, equipment replacements, and system tie-ins while minimizing production disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment and system reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for critical electrical assets.
• Support new equipment installations, commissioning activities, facility expansions, and capital improvement projects.
• Manage electrical contractors and vendors supporting maintenance, repair, and electrical improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical assets, system modifications, and maintenance activities within the CMMS.
