Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate for a growing manufacturing facility in McMinnville, TN. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing finished products for shipment, operating forklifts safely, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipping according to company standards.
• Pull, stage, and organize materials for production and shipment.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate records of materials received and shipped.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Prior shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic measuring and inventory tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and materials.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
