Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client's production team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate should have Machine Operator experience, mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
● Operate various types of machinery (e.g., rotary die cutters, flat bed die cutters, roll slicers and a 
flash cutter) according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
● Set up machines before production and perform test runs to ensure proper functioning.
● Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and 
efficiency.
● Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet ISO 9001 quality standards.
● Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment.
● Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
● Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
● Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals.
● Report malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
● Load and unloading material from machines, warehouse and trailers.
● Other duties as required

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
● Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
● Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
● Ability to read drawings or work instructions (if applicable).
● Ability to read and understand measurement devices
● Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
● Good time management skills
● Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
● Work hours 8:30 am – 5:00pm.
● Punctuality and attendance are vital

Preferred Skills:
● Working knowledge of CNC machinery programming or programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
● Forklift certification is a plus
● Relevant equipment training.
● Experience in working with non-metallic materials such as closed and open cell foams, silicones, 
felts, etc
