Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Mud Motor Technician for an opportunity in Midland, TX. This is a hands-on shop position supporting the assembly, maintenance, inspection, and repair of mud motors and related downhole drilling equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of mud motors and related downhole drilling equipment.
• Clean, inspect, service, and prepare mud motor components.
• Inspect parts for wear, damage, cracks, or other defects.
• Assist experienced technicians with maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding of mud motors.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting as directed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other shop equipment.
• Clean and prepare components for inspection and reassembly.
• Lubricate and maintain equipment according to established procedures.
• Load, unload, move, and stage motors, tools, parts, and other equipment.
• Assist with inventory and organization of parts and materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep shop and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow work orders, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Assist with general shop-hand duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented shop environment.
• Previous oilfield, mechanical, downhole, or shop experience is a plus.
