OVERVIEW
Express is seeking a Facilities Maintenance & 5S Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position is responsible for facility appearance, painting, workplace organization, 5S initiatives, and minor maintenance projects to support operational excellence. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, repair, and paint walls, floors, doors, equipment, and other facility surfaces. 
• Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming. 
• Maintain floor markings, safety signage, labels, and visual controls.
• Support 5S initiatives through workplace organization, labeling, and standardization. 
• Conduct facility inspections and assist with corrective actions.
• Complete minor facility repairs and appearance improvement projects. 
• Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory used for facility upkeep. 
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in painting, facilities maintenance, 5S, housekeeping, or a related field preferred. 
• Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and surface preparation techniques. 
• Understanding of 5S principles and workplace organization practices. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, pressure washers, and hand tools. 
• Good communication and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work activities.
