Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st Shift)

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture quality metal components. This position requires strong machining skills, blueprint reading abilities, and experience using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC Haas and Hardinge lathes, including editing programs and making offsets using G-code.
  • Set up and operate manual machining equipment including engine lathes, turret lathes, Bridgeport-style mills, drill presses, and tapping machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to produce quality parts.
  • Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience setting up and operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Haas and/or Hardinge equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
