A metal treating facility in the Rockford, IL area is looking for a dependable Shipping & Delivery Associate to join their team.

 

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, depending on preference

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to make local pickups and deliveries
• Load and unload metal parts and materials
• Prepare and organize outgoing shipments
• Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and general shipping duties
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
• Safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Comfortable driving company vehicles for local deliveries
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Able to lift and move materials as needed
• Shipping, warehouse, or delivery experience is helpful but not required
