Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist – Midland, TX

Location: Midland, TX
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hr, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a local company in Midland, TX. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records
• Prepare and enter journal entries
• Process and maintain purchase orders
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general office duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
