Our client is seeking Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper!
The Maintenance Technician will assist with the upkeep, repair, and appearance of residential properties and grounds. This role involves apartment turnarounds, general maintenance repairs, painting, landscaping, cleaning, and assisting with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related maintenance under the guidance of skilled technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Perform general maintenance, minor repairs, and painting
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs
- Maintain grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or property concerns
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, mowers, and light equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license required
