Production Laborer Job Responsibilities

As a Production Laborer, you will perform a variety of manufacturing and production tasks to help maintain the proper flow of materials throughout the plant.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating production and manufacturing equipment.

• Following production schedules, job instructions, specifications, and established procedures.

• Setting up equipment and producing products according to quality and processing specifications.

• Verifying the accuracy of productivity and quality information generated by the mixer and making required corrections.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area through proper housekeeping.

• Identifying, reporting, and correcting faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions when able.

• Following all workplace safety and quality procedures.

Production Laborer Job Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
