Machine Maintenance Technician - $18.00-$24.00/HOUR BOE

 

A West El Paso company is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician! Primary responsibility will be maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, and keep an updated record of maintenance checks
• Use hand-held power tools safely and correctly, including grinders, drills, and impact wrenches
• Perform basic welds and follow proper welding safety protocols
• Identify, document, and report equipment damage or issues to your supervisor
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety policies
• Conduct routine visual inspections of equipment and communicate findings clearly
• Keep the tool room clean and organized, and keep an up-to-date cleaning and maintenance schedule for all assigned machinery
• Complete a forklift pre- and post-use maintenance checklist daily if operating a forklift (only if certified)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Must have some welding experience
