Schedule: Monday-Saturday 6:30am-4pm

Must be open to overtime

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of all equipment and warehouse duties.
• This is a floor position, and will involve physical movement by forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Ensuring orders are correctly picked (pallet/tote/case), staged, and ready for delivery.
• Unload inbound trailers to include the breakdown of pallets and ensure correct receipt of

products.

 

•Possess a high tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility with respect to job functions and working hours in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• •Experience in the automotive industry

• Monitoring the inventory and work areas including: receipt, pick, pack, ship and return of

product.

• Complete regular inventory cycle counts.
• Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
• Comply with warehousing rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.
• General warehouse labor.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of production operations experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the safety documentation processes for handling issues related to warehouse

activities (MSDS, Equipment checklist, BOL).

• Should have excellent administration skills and abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage time with a sense of urgency to meet delivery deadlines.
• Steel-Toed Shoes required.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified, or ability to be certified on equipment (forklift, Class, I, IV, and V).

MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED

1. Be willing to work at a fast pace.       
2. It will be cooler in the winter and hotter in the summer (it is a larger warehouse).    
3. We do not provide gloves, individuals are welcome to bring your own. There are marked pieces of equipment were gloves are not allowed to be worn.
4. When we have machines running there is the possibility for dust in the area.    
5. Individuals may be moved around to different lines depending on work load and staffing needs.  
6. Attendance is very important here. Tardiness and absenteeism are a big negative here.
