We are seeking a dedicated Mixer/ Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team within the food processing industry. This role involves operating and maintaining mixing equipment to produce high-quality food products, ensuring safety, sanitation, and efficiency standards are met consistently. Responsibilities

• Operate mixing machines and related equipment accurately according to production schedules and specifications
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal operation
• Ensure proper packaging of finished products, adhering to quality standards and labeling requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with forklift operations for moving raw materials and finished goods within the facility
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery for maintenance needs or potential issues
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to sanitation protocols
• Support inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished product quantities
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or food processing environments preferred
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery
• Basic math skills for measurements, adjustments, and quality checks
• Familiarity with sanitation practices within the food industry is highly desirable
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of packaging processes and materials used in food production
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions
