HR Business Partner

Located in Morgantown, WV

Salary: up to $90k, BOE

An established organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support employees, managers, and leadership within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on HR role with responsibility for employee relations, recruiting, compliance, benefits, performance management, and workforce planning.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a primary HR resource and business partner to employees, managers, and leadership

• Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs

• Manage employee relations, including coaching, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters

• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts

• Administer employee benefits and assist with compensation programs

• Coordinate performance management, annual reviews, and performance improvement plans

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies

• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data

• Manage leave administration, unemployment claims, and employment verifications

• Prepare HR reports and track workforce metrics, including turnover and recruiting activity

• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates

• Provide confidential, professional HR guidance and support to employees and management

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience

• Manufacturing or industrial HR experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

• Experience with employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and benefits administration

• Experience with an HRIS and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
