We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician - B to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with various vehicle systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections
- Repair and replace critical components including brakes, shocks & struts, suspension parts, and wheel alignments
- Diagnose and repair powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and mechanical systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Work on advanced systems such as ADAS calibration and automotive electrical repairs
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair shops
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, and heavy equipment mechanics
- Knowledge of automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including electrical, powertrain, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools
- Demonstrated experience in vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes and tire services
- Excellent understanding of automotive safety standards and repair best practices
