Facilities Manager $30+

Located in Stoughton, MA

A food processing business in Stoughton, MA is looking to hire an experienced maintenance supervisor for their busy plant. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a maintenance department in an industrial facility, preferably a food manufacturing facility.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of an approximately 50,000 sq. ft. food processing facility.
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as production floor, offices, conference rooms, and parking lots
• Schedule and perform PMs of plant equipment and repairs to fit within a busy production schedule.
• Oversee various contractors, such as electricians, refrigeration contractors, plumbers, etc.
• Ensure efficient tracking of work orders
• Work with management to address plant-related issues and work to improve plant operations.
• Hands-on involvement in all maintenance activities.
• Supervise ad-hoc capital projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• The ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical issues (required).
• General mechanical knowledge, including knowledge of electricity, motors, gear ratios, valves, conveyors, pumps, VFD's, PLC's, control wiring, refrigeration, and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration preferred
• Basic Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, and preferably maintenance software such as Maintain X
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask -- must be able to do and oversee many different jobs at the same time.
• Ability to see the big picture and make changes where needed.
• Must be able to take direction from Management.

Pay: $30-$45/hr, DOE. Schedule: M-F: 8 hrs a day, 7-8 am start, no on call, occasional Saturdays for scheduled maintenance of projects (less than a handful a year).
