Night Shift Inspector Packer

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 8:30 PM–6:30 AM
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: 50 hours/week — 40 regular hours + 10 scheduled overtime hours
Overtime: Scheduled overtime is based on business needs and is not guaranteed.

About the Position

Join our manufacturing team as a Inspector Packer You’ll be responsible for inspecting, packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a production team.

What You’ll Do

• Remove finished products from the production line and place them into racks, boxes, or bags.

• Inspect products for quality, defects, and proper specifications.

• Pack, seal, label, and prepare completed products for shipment.

• Move finished boxes and bags to designated areas or pallets.

• Use tape machines and basic hand tools as needed.

• Read and follow production, packing, and quality instructions.

• Use basic measuring equipment such as scales, rulers, and calipers.

• Accurately count and record production and rejected products.

• Complete production and quality paperwork and enter information into the company’s ERP system.

• Monitor equipment and report production, quality, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Keep your workstation and surrounding area clean, safe, and organized.

• Maintain adequate supplies such as boxes, bags, labels, tape, and racks.

• Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and proper PPE requirements.

• Assist with material handling and support other team members as needed.

• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.

• Perform repetitive packing and inspection tasks at a steady pace.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

• Good hand coordination and ability to work efficiently in a repetitive production environment.

• Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned overnight schedule.

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

• Willingness to work scheduled overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, and twisting.

• Ability to work efficiently with your hands and perform repetitive movements.

• Ability to work around machinery and production equipment.

• Ability to read production tags, labels, and identify product defects.

• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel/composite-toe shoes.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment with exposure to production machinery and moderate-to-high noise levels. Hearing protection is required in designated areas. Employees may also experience varying temperatures, including heat and cold, as well as occasional wet or damp conditions.
