Advanced Maintenance Technician

Location: Hammondsport, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27.17–$33.90 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of millwright, mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of welding, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep work neat and organized
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Willingness to assist in other areas and work with different trades as needed
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified upon hire
• Knowledge of maintenance safety and environmental guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work
• Comfortable working from ladders or man lifts
• Ability to work in environments with extreme heat or cold
• Ability to work in confined spaces
