Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3PM-11:30PM

Job Details

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a dependable Machine Operator / Blending Technician to join a food manufacturing operation in Woodinville. This is a full-time seasonal position for someone who enjoys hands-on production work and is comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate filler and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up machines for daily production.
  • Monitor machines during production and maintain efficient output.
  • Verify product ingredients match the correct packaging materials.
  • Check product appearance and package/seal integrity.
  • Complete production logs and data sheets accurately.
  • Perform machinery changeovers between product sizes.
  • Communicate downtime, inefficiencies, and equipment issues to the Supervisor.
  • Work with Maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
  • Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and ready for inspection or tours.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • This position requires successful completion of a background screening after a conditional offer of employment, in accordance with Washington State Law. 
  • Food manufacturing or GMP experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours during a shift.
  • Frequent use of hands, fingers, and ability to handle materials and equipment.
  • Ability to walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with vibration, moving mechanical parts, and noise.
  • Requires close, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as the ability to focus.
