Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator II in the Lufkin area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced equipment operator looking for full-time work and the opportunity to utilize their skills in construction, excavation, maintenance, and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and specialized equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, trackhoes, dump trucks, mini excavators, jet machines, and trenchers
• Perform general labor, maintenance, and repair work
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems, infrastructure, facilities, and grounds
• Transport equipment, vehicles, and materials to job sites
• Perform routine equipment and vehicle inspections, cleaning, and maintenance
• Read and follow plans, cut sheets, blueprints, manuals, and regulations
• Complete required daily logs and reports
• Follow established workplace and equipment safety procedures
• Serve as crew foreman when needed
• Participate in an on-call schedule as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned 

This is an essential service position, and the employee may be required to work during emergency situations. On-call availability may also be required.
